Photographer and Video Maker
Filippo Tosi (Parma, 1985), is an indipendent italian photographer and video maker.
His story begins in Egypt, fourteen years ago. During that trip he started to photograph for the first time and has never stopped since. After completing his studies in advertising graphics, he immediately started working as a photojournalist collaborating with several local and national newspapers, including "Corriere della Sera", "Argos" and "Rumore". He also collaborated regularly with the newspaper "La Gazzeta di Parma".
He followed numerous workshops, from ancient printing techniques to meetings with internationally renowned photographers including: Alex Majoli, Nikos Economopoulus and Antonoine D'Agata.
In 2012, together with a group of photographers and journalists - including the former editor of Panorama Travel and a friend Ivano Sartori - he collaborated on the creation of the "Mondi e Viaggi" website and, with a group of colleagues, he created the Frame Festival of Salsomaggiore Terme which today boasts an excellent national reputation in Photography.
Currently, he work as a photographer and video maker freelance for an italian NGO based in Perù, with a visual project focused on Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change.
